Build credit with a no-cost Coaching Credit Loan

Business owners, it’s never too soon to plan for your future growth.

You may not need that new building or heavy equipment just yet. But if you will in the future, you’ll also need credit. And the time to build credit is now.

That’s why CDFI Friendly South Bend has partnered with Allies for Community Business to offer 10 qualifying businesses up to $2,500 each in zero-interest, no-cost loans. Our new Coaching Credit Loans provide a rare opportunity for early-stage business owners to begin building credit without incurring the interest or fees of more traditional loans.

What is a Coaching Credit Loan?

We know how important it is for you to have expert help when launching and growing your business, and we can connect you to that expertise. Our Coaching Credit Loans are available to a business that has completed their initial coaching activities, such as defining business goals, pricing products, and creating a business plan.

Early stage business owners who have completed the initial coaching activities may apply for a zero-interest, zero-cost loan to begin building credit.

“Any business that's been around for a year or so probably has at least half of these activities already done,” says Sam Centellas, Executive Director of CDFI Friendly South Bend.

Centellas’ team stands ready to help any business complete the remaining activities to get qualified. “This is what's great about Allies for Community Business and other local resources that we have. There is free help available to complete almost all of these,” Centellas says.
