Capital Coaching Awarded Amazon Grant to Support Small Business Growth

Our friend and community leader Sam Centellas made the news recently again, and we’re excited to share why.

Our Capital Coaching program has been named a grant recipient of the first-ever Amazon St. Joseph County Community Fund! This support will enable us to support capital-ready small businesses through one-on-one coaching and help them connect with CDFIs and affordable lending partners to scale their operations.

The grant was announced during an inspiring reception at Dainty Maid Food Hall, where we had the opportunity to connect with fellow change makers and Amazon leaders reinforced the power of community collaboration. We're honored to be part of Amazon's local investment in Indiana's future.

Being selected for this investment is not only an honor — it’s also a signal that South Bend’s small business ecosystem matters. Programs like Capital Coaching are vital in making sure that entrepreneurs — especially those who have traditionally been underserved — are given the tools, access, and guidance they need to grow sustainably.

We’re grateful to Amazon for believing in the potential of this work. Together, we’re investing in Indiana’s future — one entrepreneur at a time.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue walking alongside small businesses on their path to growth.
